Wools of New Zealand’s commitment to environmental sustainability is exemplified in our Laneve brand, which provides an assurance of ethical wool production, underpinned by an independently authenticated Wool Integrity Program.

Laneve branded carpets and rugs are made from 100% wool traceable back to identifiable farmers who meet a comprehensive range of environmental, social responsibility and animal welfare standards.

A Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) has been developed for New Zealand strong wool identifying the environmental footprint of our wool.

Wool, itself, is the ultimate sustainable carpet fibre – it is naturally renewable, biodegradable, recyclable and energy efficient.

New Zealand sheep farming is recognised for its world-leading standards of farming integrity – sheep graze free-range under optimal land management conditions, protected by codes of practice covering animal health, nutrition and safety.

To become a licensed Wools of New Zealand partner, selected spinners and manufacturers must demonstrate a commitment to outstanding quality standards as well as share our strong underpinning brand ethos of ethical production and environmental responsibility.
