Wools of New Zealand are working across the supply chain to help create truly sustainable wool products that can be returned to nature at the end of their useful life.

Wool is nature’s miracle fibre, made of the same essential elements that are required for healthy plant growth. Carpet Recycling UK have proven that wool-rich carpet-shred used as a soil conditioner dramatically improves plant growth. 80/20 carpets can now be used in the UK in land restoration projects, however, through the Laneve™ programme, Wools of New Zealand are working to create “cradle to cradle” or literally “grass to grass” solutions for wool carpets.
